Hey ya'll! Well, I'm thinking about getting a Mac Min cuz myPC is crap, locks up, and freezes all the time. I've never used a MAC before so I'm checking out all the specs to see what I should get because I intend on doing a LOT of graphics related work on it. What I want to know is how well does the viseo card support 3D applications? I've heard that they have a problem with playing video games so I'm a little worried since the card Intel GMA 950 graphics processor (Intel GMA 950 graphics processor) is built in and can't be upgraded. Have any of you guys had any problems running applications like Bryce 6 / Poser 6 or with Rendering? I'd really like to get the scoop b4 I buy something I can't use...

Hi, WF.  I'm a Mac user (dual 2.5GHz G5) running Bryce 6, Poser 6, Vue 5 Infinite, C4D, etc., and I don't have any problems running my software with my ATI Radeon 9600 XT.  I can't help you re: the video games since I'm not much of a gamer.  Did love the Myst series, though. ;)

I would suggest you post your question in R'osity's Mac forum.  Many of the folks who hang out there are strong in the technical dept. of all things Mac and can probably better answer your question.  You can find the Macintosh forum at the attached link.

One last thing, if you can afford to do so, I would definitely go for an intel based Mac for whichever model you buy, if you do in fact decide to buy a Mac.  The performance speeds alone are worth it.
