Here's an example of the various Poser Import Modes as it relates to Vue6. There are a couple of things worth noting here:
The regular Vue 6 import mode (far right) now does a much better job of mapping Poser materials to Vue materials. Highlights, diffuse colors, reflection maps and bumps now are all imported correctly and closely match what you would get in Poser. This is a major improvement over Vue5.
When using connected Poser Render engine mode (far left), Poser figures will generally render darker when using Indirect Lighting (AO, GI, etc). This has more to do with the shortcomings of Poser and it's ability to deal with indirect lighting.
The SkinVue6 figure (center) will generally render skin tones lighter when using significant amounts of SSS - in this case 50% SSS was used. In most cases, this is a desireable effect.
