Nice ship.

But I don't quite understand the $69 membership thing.

Do I read it right that I give you $69 and you give me $15 to 'spend'. ?

Then I can choose to spend that $15 in one go, or it gives me a $1 discount on each purchase ?

Pinky - you left the lens cap of your mind on again.

Hi Sparky,

I'll notify the website owner to explain the membership for you, he's got all the details on the plan :-)

Cheers,

davo

Awesome ship...Davo...

I want one too...wait..there are 3 more in Capital Ships in the series and more stuff...Way to cool,  a dedicated Science Fiction site. Filled with really cool models.

Sparky, I read the info on both the Gold and Silver Memberships as well as the free Bronze. I did not see anything about a $1 discount on each purchase. Have another read. What it said was you would get back so many points per purchase.

Bronze Level, if you spent  $1 you would collect 1 point. Bronze is free so I signed up!!

Silver is 2 points for each dollar spent and 200 Bonus Point to start you out!

GOLD is 4 points for each dollar you spent and 300 Bonus points to boot!

Then you collect enough point to buy whatever you want when you want... I am sooo there..tired of the "Lets wait till the first of the month" to get a $5 coupon. Now you can get what you want when you want. At a good discount, year round...

Also, PowerFusion is giving a $5 coupon with any purchase of $35 or more. Plus if your a member you can use your Customer Reward Point!  .....humm...going to get that model now!

Thats what I read on the site...

Payday here I come!!!!

Dunno. Just reads as very confusing. and price wise poserworld and platnuim club seem a much better deal. but good luck anyway.

Hi,

Hey Davo, I like your models that you have at this Power Fusion.

I took a look at the membership levels at the site and signed up at that bronze level and it was free. The rest of it seemed fine and I didn't find anything confusing about it. Like the post above, you got a token point for every dollar you spend there. With the Gold level, that would be 4 points for every dollar spent. So, if I work this out, I could build up my points and wait for that brand new model and pay for it all with the points and save the dollars for something else.

The gold level is starting to look good. Now, if the finance minister agrees with this it is done, otherwise, its the silver level. Either way you're making your own discounts and you get to use them when you want to.

So, off I go to Power Fusion.

Hey, I'm just getting into this stuff with Poser, and I have to say Davo, your stuff is very impressive.  I've been considering a membership at DAZ in their Platinum Club for some time, but with Science Fiction being my primary focus, I think I'll go for the Power Fusion membership instead.

Is more of your stuff going to be up there later on? And from the links on the sidebar, it looks like some other artists are going to be there as well; what's their stuff like?

Sparky, I don't think it's all that confusing, and I don't think DAZ Platinum Club is a better deal; for 100 bucks at DAZ you get 60 bucks back, but it's doled out over the course of a year in 5 buck increments and only usable in the Platinum Club. Yeah, there's also a 30% discount on DAZ Originals, but the best stuff they have is brokered, zero discount. At PF3D, 70 bucks gets you 15 bucks back right off and one dollar back for every five dollars you spend, on ANYTHING in the store. That's a 20% discount on Everything they have.

There's some good stuff in the Platinum Club, sure, but I'm not seeing anything like Davo's sets there. From what I've seen of other people's renders, all the parts between his sets are interchangable, meaning each set you buy expands upon the set before it.

I'm a bit cash poor right now, but even still, if I sign up for the Bronze Club every twenty bucks I spend gets me a dollar back to spend in the store.

lol, I'm starting to sound like a TV infomercial. Try not to let that disuade you from my points. PowerFusion3d is a good deal in my book, and that's where my dollars are going.
