Hi Silke, Using the quotes helps to limit the search results.
If you drill down into the departments you can locate what your looking for a little easier.
Poser / Michael 3 / Poses
Searching for "hands" will provide pretty good results.
I hope this helps.

All my life I've been over the top ... I don't know what I'm doing
... All I know is I don't wana stop!
(Zakk Wylde (2007))
I'm afraid it doesn't.
The search feature on the Marketplace is a complete and utter waste of time, because you are not able to narrow it down.
If you go and put "M3 Hands" - which is what I was looking for - you get zip. Nothing. Not a sausage. There is no middle ground. It's an all or nothing deal with the quotes on, because now it wants that exact phrase.
Ever heard of the 3 click rule? 3 clicks to get to where you want to be - or that customer is gone. It applies. Big time. Ok, maybe you have 5 clicks grace, but after that it's over and frustration sets in.
"Drilldown" is all very well - but the search tends to ignore it. I generally end up with pages upon pages - and if what I am looking for isn't on page 1 or 2, and I see a ton of stuff that bears no relation to what I'm looking for... hits the X at the top right of the browser
I am betting you lose a LOT of impulse buys because of it. If I come in with a specific thing I'm looking for, and I can't find it - even though I know it exists, because I've seen it, someone pointed me at it, but I don't know what the product is called, or who made it...
You don't honestly think anyone is going to wade through 50 pages of irrelevant stuff on the offchance that there is something they were looking for? It ain't gonna happen.
In fact, I've had this problem - not finding things - so many times that every single time I've gone... elsewhere. I haven't bought a thing at Rendo in ages, because whenever I come in and look for something specific... I can't find it.
I was looking for a bench a few weeks ago. Couldn't find what I was after, got miffed at about page 10 of work out gear and poses and whatnot and headed out. I bought the Medieval Tavern at Daz that day.
A few days ago I tripped over a Medieval set here - while looking for something completely different - but that didn't show up when I was looking for a medieval bench, or if it did... it was buried 20 pages down. I didn't see it, but it would have been a definite purchase (cheaper too). Now I have the other one and don't need it anymore.
Maybe you need to be stricter with the key words, but as it is... I can't find a thing and I'm not the only one with that particular problem, having seen some other posts on searches.
What the search needs is a simple boolean function. OR / AND / NOT - that would help narrowing things down.
M3 AND Hands NOT V3
M3 OR Hands NOT V3
Get the general idea?
I do mean to give constructive criticism here, because it's something that really bugs me. I wonder how many other people feel the same, but instead of telling you, they just go elsewhere. That's not quite the idea, now is it lol.

Could you please poste an FAQ of what you can use to narrow down searches in the marketplace?
Your search does not use boolean searches (AND OR) but I seem to remember there is a way to narrow things down - only NOWHERE does it tell you how.
That really needs to be listed on the search page.
As it stands, searching for "M3 Hands" gets you precisely zero, zip, zilch, nada.
Searching for M3 Hands (without quotes) gets me 9 pages, 95% of which have nothing whatsoever to do with hands or M3, or not even either of them.
I get an Analog Radio, an Antique Furniture pack, a Grenade pack, "Magic Italy" (backgrounds), a clock, a cat, bags, buildings, a car, Bloodsong's Heavy Horse, Gigantosaurus... and that's just going through the first 4 pages.
You have got to be kidding. 9 pages of 95% completely irrelevant stuff.
