I'm sure the statistical average for multiple personality disorder in a regulated community is way below the number of individuals (especially moderators...is there a discount scheme?) changing their "names" here. 

I'm old as dirt, and I've only ever had the one name,  everywhere.  What gives people?

So long as they aren't announcing gender reassignments, I don't really care,  LOL

However, it's going to make searching for old threads and information a PITA because I have the memory of an elephant for somethings and I frequently use a person's user name along with dates and key words and time frames to narrow down my searches.  Thus the reason I'm trying really hard to keep track of who now has become who.

Slinger, you're missing out on the latests hype in the Poser Community! You need to change your name otherwise you just don't count anymore. By not changing your name you're going to be part of the old bunch, soon looked upon as the P-conservatives. you're not flexible, renewed, enlightened and in the way of progress. If you want to be respectable in the Poser Community, you need to have rendered at least one NVWASIAT and have you're name changed.

Did I forget anything?

I'm a rebel and don't have the interest (or energy) to change my name because everyone else is changing their's.  The only change I'd do is foolish .  I go from JOELGLAINE to joelglaine.  My keyboard was broken and the cap lock couldn't disengage when I signed up. XP

Now I'm stuck and don't care. What's in a name? An Amazonian toad will still make you hallucinate if you lick it.  If you don't like my name--lick it!!!  :lol:

It took me two years to learn people's names. Now I have to start all over.
 A lot of my Runtime is mainly organized by MERCHANT (clothes and characters). I knew who I liked and what they had for sale.
Now I go in the store and see a product by a new merchant, but when I got to that shop I find out (by the content) that it's an old merchant with a new name. Very confusing.
It would be nice if the store had a chart to say who is now who.

I never gave any thought to my user name when I signed up, not did I consider the fact that I might want to interact with other users of the site. So, my name was kinda stupid, and didn't reflect anything about me. I changed my name as soon as the service became available, because the new name (CaptainJack1) means something about me, and the old one (jevans69) didn't. I'm sure a lot of other people have similar reasons.
