Subject: Poser 6 Memory

I've just gone from Poser 5 to 6 and my computer will not render about half the scenes I create.

It comes up with memory to low all the time! I never had this problem with P5.

I've put all the render settings down to their most basic. I've used both Poser 4 and FireFly, all  with no luck.

All the textures will render on their own, (using quite an advanced render setting) so there is no problem with that side of things. Put 'em together and disaster.

What am I doing wrong???

Please help.

Have you applied service pack 3 for Poser 6 (you can download it at Content Paradise)? It solves some memory issues, among other things.

Disable "adaptive bucket size" in general preferences if you can't render something in P6 that worked in P5.
