You said Vue doesn’t ID the Video Card, but you didn’t say whether Vue will run. If so you should be able to uncheck the feature in Preferences that tests the card on launch. Check the Open GL Hardware Acceleration and see if it will run. If you have not already done that.
Vista should have installed the correct ATI 9600 Family drivers with OpenGL support automatically on installation. Those drivers should be sufficient to launch VUE 5 without updating the drivers.
You may have to turn off Data Execution Prevention for Vue. There is also the possibility that your current Firewall may not allow Vue to run and have to add it to the exclusion list.

Ihave just installed Windows Vista RC1 and everything seems to work fine -Poser ect.....apart from when I run Vue 5, As I get a message saying that Vue was unable to id my graphics card - I have a ATI RADEON 9600 and have tried to install the latest drivers - yet still no joy!!!!
Can anyone help me with this???
