Subject: Vue 6 infinite: loading path problem

Hello
I have redownloaded the products i bought from Cornupia 3d for using them in Vue6 infinite .I begin to install them in F: Vue 6 InfinitePlants whre i have installed the prerelease version

But the soft just want load it from c:Documents and SettingsMartialMy Documentse-on softwarevue 6 infinite Plants etc

I check if i can configure it in Files options nothing about it

How to correct this? Thanks

When you first installed you should have been given the chance to alter the path of the directory for additional content (you appear to have accepted the default value).
If you didn't alter it when given the opportunity, I don't think there is any way to change it other than a reinstall.

Yes, nruddock is right, if you didn't change the installation path for your content ( it is by default in "my documents"), then you need to load your plants in the plants folder in "my documents", where all your content was installed.
If you want everything in the application folder, you need to reinstall.

There is another workround for this although it's a non-standard fix:

  1. Find your Vue 6 Infinite.reg file (which should be on root drive, windows folder)

  2. using notepad or some other ascii editor, open it and then change the pathname for your documents path

the problem is that in vue 6 infinite.reg the path name for documents is not there
See some extract of this file openned in notepad

i finally decide to reinstall and everything seems ok now with the path
