Subject: V4 Mesh - idiotic figures

I don't know who was involved in the builing of the V4 mesh, but somehow the mesh is crazy.

If you look at one single nipple without aureola you can count:

Vertices: 151
Edges: 283
Faces: 133

If you look at the usable vertices for the private part of the hip, you will find:

Vertices:  69
Edges:  128
Faces:     60

IMO somehow crazy.

yeah, I agree - they must be boob-centric. that's a phase straight males go thru (see poser gallery), until they finally find out about things "down there". :lol: ops! I belatedly realised it might be a "geom swap" switch that y'all somehow missed. like ya gotta pay extra for more realism. just imagine dan f. telling the modeller: "o.k., pal, we need the real stuff down there, so see what ya can do", and then giving him a buncha shots from one of the xxx-rated sites.

LOL It's more than V3! And after a quick look in ZB she has been mesh prepped for a few new protuberances. Nothing major. But it will hold up in court...;) Miki has 12000 in her eyeballs..

...right.

Gotta put focus where there is demand.

I will admit that I want a realistic and anatomically correct figure - but I want detail that is correct from head to toe.

For another angle, I ran into a person claiming to be the modeler for V4 some months ago in artzone chat, and he noted that the same mesh is being used for the male and female. Given that, it would take a lot of vertexes in the sexual organs in order to make one mesh be able to handle both shapes accurately.

Truth has no value without backing by unfounded belief.

Look at Mikis mesh, with the number of verts in her private part you can easyly create 3 joysticks. And, btw, what is the purpose of that high density in a males nipple?

It may have to do with the 7 joints in the tongue...

Well, she is great, the only thing, there seems to be a problem with one facet on each side of the neck. It doesnt take a texture. Think I have to look into the mesh. Otherwise, again a great job of Stahlratte.

Correction: Some HQ textures show this problem, when the texture is limited to cover only the UV-map. So I have to adjust some textures for V2.
