No to the first question - displacement is an additional option to the bump menu. They share the same map. It is however possible to create a layered material with the displacement on the top layer and the bump on the bottom layer (someone demonstrated that in an earlier forum thread).
Yes to the second question. There were a few issues around bump maps for certain objects, including coming from zbrush. I am not sure if these issues have been addressed in the latest update or not.

Is it possible to have a separate bump map and displacement map? I.E A different bump way (ex pores of skin, cracks of skin etc) And a totally different map for displacement (I.E veins, more contoured musculature)?
Does Vue 6Inf use displacment maps generated in Zbrush? If so how?
