This is a very very small town beside a huge dam in Palencia, Spain. Its a beautiful place, and people were sooo kind. 6x6 Bronica. TMZ 100ASA. Orange filter. Arturo

The large format camera is surely one of the best invests Ive done. Its so different from 35mm. When I bought it I forgot about the 35 mm one for a few months ;-) It may sound strange, but the change in the format makes you look in a different way when you photograph. Thanks for your comments, Alpha. I admire your work and they mean a lot to me. Arturo

Beautiful and awe inspiring. It's rare that I ever get to see clouwdes like that. Not to mention in a picture. I feel I can just touch them! Bsteph

WOW...this is a beautiful photo!! I would really love to visit these places, but since I can't right now, I am glad you are taking the pictures and showing us. Lets me know what I really am missing. Leigh

I have to say Aturo, you are certainly widening my eyes....and I find this to be majestic....When a photograph gets you thinking all kinds of things, as in, I wonder what the people are like down there, what its like to live here, etc., then you look at the wide grand majesty of it...wow.

Thankx Art, and all of you who retain the art of using 'normal' cameras. I think at times some of us get a little caught up in 'keeping up with technology' and forget what we already had available (I'm Guilty!). Personally, I'd just like to glide down and drop into a Pub....

I love using "normal" cameras. I have a business dedicated to graphic and web design so everyday Im dealing with computers and digital illustration. So when I go out of work I love getting my cameras and be a little appart of the bits, bytes and pixels for a while. All the time I spend in the dark room is very relaxing for me. Dont misunderstand me. Digital photography, digital treatment of the images and all that is all perfectly legitimate. Its just my opinion and the fact that I love natural grain and the effects a certain film gives (nowadays a digital camera is still too far from emulating the quimical silver process). In fact I have used the computer for the postwork in the whole bichromated gum nudes series. The combination of traditional process and computers can be great. Thanks everybody for the comments. Arturo
