Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 22 10:18 pm)
When importing the clothing, put it in the right position before starting the simulation and parent it to the hip.
Run your simulation.
Spawn a morph for the dynamic clothing.
Then save the clothing as a prop.
Should work.
Also you can safe the obj fter you ran the simulation as a new obj, but this time do NOT put a vink in the "as morph target".

Thanks vilters, it worked (first method you described)!
I also tried the second method and this time I could export the obj-File. Yesterday I tried the same and Poser never showed me the last window with the checkboxes during the export process.
I have absolutely no idea why it works today and did not work yesterday

Hi there,
I have a question regarding dynamic clothing in Poser 6 SR3.
I have used some of the great dynamic clothing by SVDL (but also from other people). After I did the simulation in the cloth room the clothing fits the posed figure as desired. No problem so far - looks great and I can save the entire scene as pz3.
Now I want to use the same figure in the same pose with the same dynamic clohing item in a more complex scene. Importing of the other pz3 file doesn't work (I don't know the reasons for this, the names of the figures are different). So, is there another way to achieve this without running the simulation again in the complex scene? I tried to save the figure as a cr2 but then the cloth loses it's "morph". I tried to export the cloth as obj, but poser just writes no file.
Any help appreciated!
