A couple of months ago I was presented with a great opportunity.  A posibility of a grant to start my own fine art and illustration business.  I needed to go to the pros.  I investigated the CGsociety and it's guidelines (Finally understanding it's negative reaction to Poser though I was told that is soon changing) to be a professional CG illustrator.   I was comforted also with Steven Stahlberg (a greatly respected character artist in the CG world) who commented that he will use Poser if need be.  My new image in my gallery is one result of the time spent there.

I really love this sketch! Sketching and oil paints is where I got my start. As a kid I would sketch on any piece of paper available to me. I went over to your link where you had the other sketches and enjoyed them also. So this is your Great grandmother? Man I feel old now my father was born in 1915. I hope you secure the grant it will be an amazing time for you!!!
