Purchased V4 complete.  There are skin files - where do I find these at, I have tried adding the folder manually in poser - didn't work.  I can't find them anywhere within the program, so how do I go about using the skins that were included in the package?

Your mat pose files for the textures are found in the Poses folder under DAZ's Victoria 4:MATerials Hi-Res

To use them, select V4's body and double click on the thumbnail you want and the texture will apply.

I only have standard rez and sample rez.  But When I go to C: poser6/  There is a folder called people, right in there, and that has a folder in it called Victoria 4 then another called materials and within that I see standard rezz folder and again inside that there are pics for skin textures - files are labeled pngs and dsps.

All the make up ones show up in program, as well as fingernails, just can't find the skin textures.

It sounds as though you haven't installed them.   I am guessing from the file names that the relevant installation files are ps_tx1276_V4MapsHi1 and ps_tx1276_V4MapsHi2.   Do you definitely have these and have you installed them?

I don't know if I definately have them.  I have V4 complete.  I believe it is suppose to come with skin textures.  I can't find the info on daz site - and there are no mesh files in the folder I previously mentioned.  In this folder I have 6 total skin files, skin_spec_wet, skin_spec_default and skin_spec_soft dsb.pngs.

And I am sure I installed everything directly to C:programfiles/curiouslabs/poser6.

I did wind up click on the stomach, then a head make-up icon and skin appeared on the model.

You have to download and install all the content for the V4 Complete bundle.  Go back to DAZ, click on My Account and then on Itemized Order History.  Reset the download for the bundle and then wait for the Downloads Reset email.  Once you get that, go back to your account using the link in the email and download all of the V4 content and then install it.  The skin textures come in a separate file and will install to the folder I mentioned earlier.

The thumbs to apply them are in your Pose library somewhere in a folder named "MAT."

C:/Program Files/Curious Labs/Poser 6/Runtime/Libraries/Pose/Daz3D(Maybe)/Victoria 4 MATs.
