Subject: Legacy content installation after the fact.

Greetings:

I had a system meltdown and had to do a system reload (I back up everything often; so no losses) and during the re-installation of P6 & 7 I chose custom installation and opted not to install the legacy stuff.  Now I find I need to install at least one of the legacy items so my question is: can it be installed without re-writing the entire runtime therefore ruining it?  Or, will it be like adding a component, like what MS Office allows you to do?

I do have external runtimes, but I have some things installed in the main runtime I don't care to loose nor reinstall.

Thanks folks, Larry-L

It will write over what it already installed and install the new stuff.

If you have added non stock content to the runtime it shouldn't mess it up.   I've had to reinstall Poser a few times because of quirky behaviour and my extra things that I added to the Poser 6 runtime have been left untouched.
