With the new chat feature, I've just be advised that we can have a custom chat area created for ourselves. Is anbody interested? Just post in this thread and let me know. Mark

Will there be some way to tell if people are chatting from here on the forum? In the top 'banner' area maybe?

The very few extreme times I caught people in the Carrara room chatting, it was always good.

I say we do it unless Rendo feels it's costing some kind of overhead expense they don't want.

We can also have sessions.  We did them twice when I was mod and they went fine.

the chat room here is pretty dead, and it's already broken up in cliques. this forum is far more conducive to intelligent discussion IMVHO. add to that: no image posting in the chat room, and it's just a bad deal.

Yes, but I don't get by there too often myself. The best time is about 9 p.m. EST, 6 p.m. PST Mark
