Subject: Lighting Challenge

There is a interesting lighting challenge going on at CGTalk.  The hallway model is available to download in a variety of formats including obj.  

Would be nice to see some Vue renders show up some of the big programs.

Well tried the OBJ and the Lightwave import, seems VUE doesn't want to bring in any materials, so might have to texture it myself. Is that allowed?

I don't believe it actually comes with textures.  When I loaded it in Vue there was only the "initial Texture".  I had to do a lot of renaming just to keep track of what is what for texturing purposes though.

Yep, no textures - there are a lot of really cool ideas though as you read all the contest pages.

WOW, this looks so cool. The atmosphere in the original image is superb, I'm hoping someone from here can come up with something good, I think I'll give it a go myself even though I've got lots of different projects on the go!
