How do you make a joint controlled morph in a cr2?

Add lines like these to the morphs channel (targetGeom) after the keys{section:

            ...
            interpStyleLocked  0
            valueOpDeltaAdd
                Figure 1
                head:1
                yrot
                deltaAddDelta 0.006
            indexes 1580
            ...

This sets up the morph dial as being slaved to the head's yrot dial (Y-rotation - Side-Side).  How much rotation affects the morph value is determined by deltaAddDelta.

C makes it easy to shoot yourself in the foot. C++ makes it harder, but when you do, you blow your whole leg off.
