Hi

Just though I’d post a few WIP shots of something I've been making.

I’ve been getting the urge to do some historical type illustrations starting with the WWII era. Having bought some of the tank models from vanishing point I decided rather than just having them all trundling about  in empty fields I would need some buildings to use with them, so I thought I’d try making some.  This is the first, I intend to do some more as time allows.

This is takes me back to my old plastic kit/Diorama making  stage when I was younger.  At least I wont be gluing my fingers together this time.

I’ve made  this model in sketch up and will be rendering in Bryce.

This first pic is the untextured sketchup model

I also think it looks great.  Looks like some good buildings for a ww2 flight sim.

Thanks for the comments/feedback.  i'm working on a few more I'll put some images up when I've got a bitmore done.  I

think I've become addicted to Sketchup and Bryce complements it really well.  Importing an object brings all the textures in just right.
