I should have mentioned this earlier, but it Just didn't occur to me.
The member known here as "navysquid" Was Duane Davis, and he passed away on Nov. 12th, 2006.
The online obit is at http://www.somersetkyobits.com/duane_davis.htm
He enjoyed working with 3d software, and poser most of all.

So sad to hear when one of us moves on.
Surely to a better place.

I don't know the fellow.   I just looked in the web page and saw he was only 36 years old..

some one should find his avatar photo and post it in memory of him...

I'll pass the kind words on to the part of the family that would appreciate them; His wife and Uncle; I'm godfather to his son, hopefully renderosity will leave his profile up so I can show him what his dad liked to mess with later on down the road.
havysquid had a hard life, and achieved a lot. U.S. Military, Black Belt, and is even in the movie "Edison death machine". But he had great physical pain every day for the last, I think, 5 years.

It's sad to see somebody in the best age to leave us all behind! I know it from own experience because I lost a good friend about a year ago. You have my deepest condolences!
