Vue F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 24 7:34 pm)
It's the best! The skin looks great and saves having to use hugh Poser textures (but you can still use the texture if you want and enhance it). Using SkinVue has made it much easier to have multiple Poser characters in one scene.

Bonjour
I don't have it but i am thinking about buying it for use with VUE infinite 6 prereleased. For now VI6 is very very slow when importing Poser caracters with all the textures.do you think if i importe poser caracter using obj format (exported from Poser 6) and after using Skinvue. it will be easier top move, rotate etc in the scene
I didn't have this problem with Vue infinite 5 before
Thanks
Martial, SkinVue only works on pz3, so you need to import the poser scene, not the obj.
The Poser import can be very slow if you import with "allow reposing in Vue" and "use Poser shader tree" selected, because a connection to the poser.exe must be established and is kept open all the time. Each and every little modification made to the Vue scene is sent to Poser, Poser updates the Poser scene, and sends the results back to Vue, and then Vue updates the Vue scene.
Uncheck these options if you don't use procedural shaders in POser, and if you don't intend to repose inside Vue.

I got today an e-mail; SkinVue 6.1 update is ready for download at Cornucopia3d.
