see attached image could this be done in vue6 espirt?love the effect of caustic in water an even the wave.the image was terragen.how it can be done any ideas?

Terragen doesn't support real caustics, neither does Vue  Esprit. You didn't upload the image,, but  I suspect a bitmap was used to "fake it", used to use Terragen myself, and this was the trick we used back then.

And Bruno.. . check again the list of features. Vue 6 Esprit DOES include accurate computation of caustics.

Ok, my mistake, thought this was Infinite only. So, Richard, you can have real caustics in Vue 6 Esprit. Now how cool is that? Check the link to see real world caustics at work. ( shameless promotion here!)

wont work sorry,the caustics seem to be on the surface of the water an not on the earth under it.thats what i wondered if vue could do anyway.
