Subject: A lead on a bird !!??

Would anyone know where I could get an animation for poser of a bird flying, I’ve tried doing my own , it’s kinda awful and It’s only a background element!! I’ve been all over the net and am going cross-eyed so any leads would be much appreciated.:)

If you have "Daz's Eagle" they also sell a animation file with the bird flying.  The bird is really nice, but I can't vouch for the animation file as I really don't know if I have it or not?  That's what happens when you have so much stuff you really don't remember if you have it or not? LOL!  I apologize but I work nights and really can't check right now....but I don't think I do?

Anyways, I hope this has been some help to you as I don't know what else to recommend.

I looked at the eagle animation and it looks good from the QuickTime movie that they have of it but it is very much a big bird and I was looking for more the common or garden wing movements, the eagle is very stately looking. But thanks for the responseJ and it’s on with the search!!;)

I'd overlooked this since for some very strange reason I assumed you were asking for a lead to fit a bird. You know, to take it for walks and stuff. I need to get more sleep. :lol: The man to talk to for everything small bird related is Emperor Ken: his Songbird ReMix Pose Pack at DAZ (see link) includes animated poses, but I don't own it myself so I can't advise further.

Thanks loads, I actually have the songbird remix but thought the pose set was only poses, when I have money at the end of the week-pay day J!!-I’ll get them. Thumbs up again.

hahahaha, that was my first thought, too. A bird on a leash. No idea for the flying poses, but good luck finding one!!

If you just want a flapping bird and have the bird poses , just alternate wings up, wings down poses about every every 30 frames. Poser will fill in between and you get a bird flapping wings about once a second.

Doing that but it looks a bit stiff at the moment; I likes the eagle movement as it really flew as it were. I just wanted something really believable and my animation at the moment isn’t
