Hi Does anyone know where I can get a good afro caribean baby figure? I've been trying to use 'Baby Andy' but whenevr I try to load him I get the message to locate 'MilBabyNoGenHip.obj' which is not on my computer. Any bdoy got any advice or know of any other figures? Any advice gratefully received - things getting desperate... j

I think Baby andy is a character for the Millennium Baby sold at DAZ. If you buy that, then Andy should be available to you.

Yes I got the millenium baby but andy still doesn't work - the body remains purple and the head textures don't fit properly

Where did you get Andy from?

Baby Andy is probably a character for the MilBaby 3 available at DAZ.

The mesh is different from the original MilBaby so that's the one you need to get since you said the textures don't fit properly on the MilBaby.

Try downloading the template for the MilBaby 3 and checking to see if the textures for Andy look like the template.  The templates are free and will give you an idea if that's the problem.

I couldn't find the Baby Andy character so if you could post a link I'll be happy to check for you.

OOps its Baby Jimmy - sorry!!

jonthecelt ( ) posted Thu, 22 February 2007 at 9:34 AM

Actually, its more likely to be the other way round... if you bought the Mil Baby recently, and Baby Jimmy, it's likely that you've got Mil Baby 3, whilst it looks as though (based on it's age - 2003) Jimmy is for the original Mil Baby.

The original Mil Baby is available here:

and the new improved Mil Baby 3 is here:

Hope this helps,

OK I've worked away around the skin colour etc now I can't import the MILL BABY FIGURE INTO VUE INFINITE - anyone got any ideas on this

Save as a .pz3 file and then import this as an object.

Yes I've saved it as a pz3 file it just doesn't show - in any form. I don't understand it I don't usually have any problems importing Daz figures

OK - I think Vue Infinite did not like my previous file name? Thats all I can work out it could be. I re-saved the Poser baby file without any spaces in the file name and Vue imported as usual. In case this is any use to anyone - Afro Caribean babies!!! best combination I could find was Daz's 'Mil Baby 3' plus 'Little Darlings' morphs/textures. That seems to work OK. Think it might need a little post work to increase the realism though. Thanks to everyone for their help.

I know this sound strange but I would try Chubbies for a different face character for the Mil Baby 3.  Sharen
