Hi there a few days ago i asked for some help here at the forum for an interior shoot for a magazine. Two days ago i had the photoshoot. I found it extremely difficult to make some good images. I had to shoot in a nightclub with very poor lightning. Usually i only do people shots in nightclubs but this was something else. My main problem was properly illuminating my objects since i didn't have any external lights with me(don't own them). Using my flash totally ruined the light that was available to me. I did however bring my tripod and that really was a great help. I used high f stops like f6.3 and low shutter speeds to make the pictures. Further more since this was an interior shoot i thought it would be nice to make some panorama photo's inside the club. To be honest i am not that satisfied with the photo's. If i had had some good equipment i think i would have made better pictures. I really don't think the magazine is going to hire me again for such a shoot. O well they say that your mistakes are your greatest learning points. So in order for anyone else to learn from my mistakes i made a list with al of them.

Mistake nr1: Not bringing good equipment for the job
Mistake nr2: Not taking an assistant with me
Mistake nr3: Taking on a job in which i had little or no experience
Mistake nr4: Bringing a crappy tripod wich barely could hold the weight of my camera

i saw the photos & taught they were good. the only thing that i would say u should do, is to do some photo retouching so as to make the colours more vibrant & colourful.

if i was to do this shoot, i won't even think about using flash because it would ruin d colourful atmosphere that is aready there.

by d way, whats ur equipment?

Thanx for the comment and your tips! The deadline for the shoot is next monday so that still gives me time to make some adjustments to the photo's.

My equipment: Nikon D200, Tamron 17-50mm lense, Sb600 flash (which i didn't use), Tripod.

The first few seem a bit tilted, and i would say that some of them almost seem a bit too dark, although i'm sure exposure was fairly difficult in the lighting. Some retouching should bring out the dark areas :)

I was wondering about the last two - have you cut the bottom off because of what is there? it is a bit distracting seeing half of a couch. But looks good anyway.

Nice club - what type of club is it, salsa or something?
