Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 17 1:30 pm)
thx fr the link, papa. so it turns off texfiltering for all materials, rather than us having to manually go thru and turn 'em all off? o.k., sounds good, but there are still other sources of blurred renders. the part I'm unclear on is whether the shading rate value in the render settings is over-ridden by any of the shading rate settings for each object in the scene.
The render engine compares the minimum shading rate in the render settings dialog with the shading rate of an object, and uses the largest number for that specific object.
I haven't checked whether SR1 changes shading rates of objects.
The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
I've written (a long time ago) some scripts to set all objects parts shading rate in the scene to a single number which can be really handy vs trying to change all the parts on say V3 by hand.

It might be useful to you, there is a readme with the zip with details. I believe it still works with Poser 7 but I haven't tested it more than use it once or twice.

I was having problems with the textures looking blurry for SR1. For some reason whenever you save a pz3 and reopen it, the textures are blurry even when using stewer's script. However, if you reapply all of the textures and run the script, the textures will appear normal.
