Thus far, the overwhelming majority of V4 smart props out there are things like fashion bracelets, chokers, earrings, and other "beauty-type" stuff.

What I would like to know is there a merchant that makes or has made weapon smart props (hand poses included as well) like assault rifles, semi-auto hand guns, wicked looking blades, etc? I think having an exquisite looking, highly textured, V4 bombshell in a skimpy bikini, a sultry/sexy expression, wielding an AK-47, Sig Sauer, or some type of hellion soul wreaver axe would look utterly out of this fu--ing world!

I've tried searching renderosity's store and can find nothing, as well as Content Paradise, Daz, and Poser Pros. Anyone have any luck or links to such items? It would be tremendously appreciated!

dont know of any either, but have been looking myself...I personally want to see swords, daggers, etc

You know it's not that difficult to make a smart prop out of any prop if you start from the zero pose!

I'm working on it.
A fantasy warrior outfit, completed with a shield, dagger, sword, probably an axe. Scabbards for sword and axe.
Will take some time before it's finished though.

well sorry to say this but ..i findt this to bee a "lazy" mail..

How difficult is it to move the gun from a V3 position to a V4 position to the hand and resave the prop for V4...
There are tons of guns for V3 for free and doing a little reposition to it makes it a V4 gun..
And if that is to much work for a freebee ... then you should stop this poser thing completely

its all about preference.  It is no harder than manually doing hair fits, or adapting a pose to a figure rather than the one it was designed for, or changing colors in the material room, yet there are tons of products that do just those things....so if ya dont mind, I think I'll keep on plugging away at this poser thing.

Thanks for the condescending attitude. Had it ever occurred to you or anyone that maybe I didn't want to spend more of my time repositioning fingers, hands, and thumbs to a prop? I know how to parent a prop to a figure/part. What I wanted to know was if there were products out of the box that were designed specifically for V4 just like there are props for V3, A3, M3, etc...

Merchants make hand poses for their props because they know that not all users want to spend the time manipulating hand parts when they could be using that set up time for other aspects of their scene. It's called "For the benefit of EFFICIENCY and EXPEDIENCY!

Plus, some of the better detailed weapons out there have to be re-sized (scaled) to first fit the hand, then need to be tweaked some more to account for the angle of the grip and trigger placement. I could see if wanted a shortcut to a "Freebie" product, but I asked for products that I can BUY! Just because you are some self-proclaimed Poser wizard, don't look down on me and call me lazy because I choose to better spend my time on other aspects of Poser! This whole notion of "laziness" is asinine. By your definition based on my prop request, then why even have a store for Poser products in the first place when folks should be making their own models, textures, morphs, poses, etc?

i doubt there will be very much yet, given she's only been out for a couple of months. I've not tried personally yet, but i'm guessing a v3 smart prop would open somewhere near the intended objective, so only a minimal adjustment should be required. And I saw yesterday that DAZ had a load of free hand poses on offer, although i'm not sure how long that will last.

Now, i do have some v3 smart props in my store.....but here I have a dilemma. Recent changes to update rules mean that I'd have a hard time updating them to include v4 smart-propping, as the store would prefer them to go out as new packs. Now, me personally, I'm not comfortable with that idea.....asking people to pay again for essentially a pretty small change, but, I dont make policy, so my hands are tied. And since they only came out late-ish last year, it would be a major downer to have to put them out as seperate v4-specific props. As everyone knows, i don't really operate that way. So the jury's still out as to what i'm going to do in that respect.
