They seem like such great figures!
I was toying with the idea with making some stuff for them... clothes shoes what not... Perhaps a freebie or two, or some, if they're good enough, for sale.
I'm not sure if it would be worth while....
Is GND still being used a fair amount, or is it more of a pasee by now?

i still use irina.  and blackhearted hasn't left the top seller list yet, despite having no v4 products at all.

I just got Blackhearted's latest dress for GND2 who, btw, looks much better than V4 in those promos.  So, yes, if I'm happy with a model I'll still go on using it even though newer ones may have hit the market.

I would use Irina more if there were more items out for her too.

I've been looking at GND recently but the toy budget hasn't cooperated yet. I like the figure a lot and will probably buy her sometime in the next couple of months. Irina is also on my radar but not as close to the top of my "must buy" list.

As for a figure being "passe" I'm probably not a good one to ask about that, as I never think a good figure should be abandoned. I still use The Girl and Laroo in projects. I think Victoria 2 is an underrated figure, and don't even get me started about Nea.

Always nice to see freebies! I always like to see people supporting the "B-List" figures. It's the same vicious cycle - nobody supports the less popular figures because the market is too small, and with no 3rd party support, the figures never get more popular.

I have Irina (bought mostly for the tomb raider-esque clothes) but I don't have GND because she mostly seemed to have lingerie instead of real clothes for her and I mostly do pieces with clothes on people.

I love my GND2, but rarley use it due to a lack of clothing in my library.

I've found myself using V4 much more often as I have a few more pieces to play with, though I do prefer the GND2 body shape (except those damn shoulders!).

Having said that, I use my male figures much more often anyway! :)

GND2 is imo one of the best V3 characters I've ever seen.  My three all time favorites are GND2 and Tendom/Nikke's NT Anna tied for first place, with Aery_Soul's Kielo a very close second.  Irina is the only SP3 character I'd consider buying (meaning I love her quite a bit).

Well, one side of me wants to say, "No don't make anything for GND or Irina they aren;t worth it!" but the truth is I have more or less street cloths sets out for both of them, and I have a couple more sets on the radar for them as well. I love GND2 and Irina and plan to support them until they are removed, in between making stuff for other figures of course. My GND and Irina sets are both still selling reasonably well, so I'd say go for it, the more the merrier!

GND kicks ass! Can I say that? As far as V3 characters go she is distinctive and athletic-ly sexy. I agree that there aren't enough clothes for her, though I'm not concerned about that since I make my own. It'd be great it Blackhearted made a guy figure from M3; then I could do a Poser remake of Mr & Mrs Smith.

I don't know if "ass" qualifies as nudity or profanity or both.

I have both GND2 and Irina...gorgeous textures, awesome add-ons, but, not much in the way of a wardrobe. 

I say go for it!!  I'm always looking for anything to use with them.  Free or otherwise. :thumbupboth:

I have  the original Girl Next Door Pack, and I have used it a lot. I do have GND 2 too, and use it too. I do not have Irina, but I use Ki a lot. The original GND pack and Ki are no longer available, as far as I can tell, but  since they were made for V2... although they still look good.

Irina and GND2 are right in that zone of body shape and proportion that I really like and seek in my characters. The two of them are invaluable to me. I only use V3 & S3 because of them. It's all in the shape and they look great with every texture I've used on them.

Like I mentioned, three or so of my poser addict ;) friends and myself are actually tinkering with the idea of making things for GND, or shall I say collaborating... I'll have to check with them when we can release a little preview of things that we created so far.  several items are modelled, I'm UV Mapping and texturing some as we speak... then they're off to rigging.

Please pardon me, I missed whom it is that said that GND and Irina are great characters, I do agree, I just love their physique.

If you have requests for things you'd like to see for these characters, please voice them out. I'm not in a position to make any promisses at the moment, but we do want to hear what people are interested in. If you have a photo or a link to a photo of something that you like, please do tell :)

Personally, I do push for less scant clothes, and those that can be used for more of storytelling, but the guys in the group are generating pinup-style clothes as well.
