Hi!Some of the stuff in the Poser FAQ (link at forum start) is outdated but it totally covers the basics and will certainly help you wrap your head around the nit picky things involved in Poser....
If ya scroll down to "Millenium figures" in the FAQ you'll see more abouit Victoria etc...

Have a look at that post. It should help clear up some confusion."It is good to see ourselves as
others see us. Try as we may, we are never
able to know ourselves fully as we
are, especially the evil side of us.
This we can do only if we are not
angry with our critics but will take in good
heart whatever they might have to
say." - Ghandi
You just think its confusing, wait 'til you start using it. ; ) Whatever your reasons for plowing into 3D character work, Poser is the simplest for plug and play for this kind of software. 3DS, Lightwave, Maya, XSI have more power and steeper learning curves. "Pose her like a dolly" ??? That metaphor will work if that is the context you want to work in. Despite it's humble beginnings illustrators are doing some very decent work with it. You won't "need" to buy anything else when you buy Poser. Included content would could most busy for quite some time. You're own desires to do more or add on will develop naturally. That includes developing a desire to never waste another second indoors tweaking dials posing 3D characters. It depends on why you want it. good luck

hi, i do not have poser. im thinking about it but when i look at all the poser content available on the web it gets confusing. i see alot that i like but it all carries a differant version name. for instance the Victoria model, mesh, addon, plugin. i dont know what it is. What is this Victoria? is it a generic female mesh thats packed with Poser and i dress her up and pose her like a dolly? or is it a mesh purchased from a third party?
Then i see "wonder woman costume for V2".. What the heck does that mean? there must be differant versions of victoria. hmm. i wonder if v2 addons work with V3. I wonder witch versions of poser have V1, V2 and V3.. this is all to confusing.
Can some please shed some light on all this jumble of goodies i have available to me but dont know how to use. Id like to understand Poser before i start spending money on it :)
Thank you very much -E
