I want to create comic panels using photoshop7. Is there a plug in or similar that can create resizable ballons and text bars? Free would be wonderful but i'll force open the wallet if i have to. Thanks

Don't know about plug-ins, but you should consider looking for a collection of free brushes or custom shapes for Photoshop. Especially custom shapes, which are easily resizeable because they're made up of paths. If you look for anyone offering custom shapes, where the shapes are comic balloons and the like, you should be able to download them, load them in Photoshop, and use them to your heart's content.

If you're unable to find any, you should be able to download some from the link I'm providing and either import them as paths to Photoshop to convert them to shapes or copy them from Illustrator and paste them into Photoshop as paths. So many ways to get to the same ending, really.

I like the idea of vector shapes, all the talk can have a standard radius, and i would sugest selecting the points of two sides of the rectangle, shown in red, to resize (while holding shift if need be. Because I made the little tag off the bubbles as a seperate entity, I can dictate where the speach is comming from to suit my needs. a simple white fill layer shape with an outline. Don't worry the thin grey lines won't show when you click on the background layer. having them so easy to move means that if i wanted to type using photoshop, a text layer would appear above this one, i can change either the text bounds or text bubble to suit.
