Does anyone know of any good training dvd's (with voice and motion) that go over how to model humans and creatures with Cinema 4D?  I'm looking for a dvd that will demonstrate the process like the following dvd that is for Zbrush:

(Warning:  Do not watch too much of the Zbrush movie because the guy doing it is too good and will only get a newbie like me frustrated if you've tried with C4D using cubes.)

I would like to see a DVD that shows how its done for Cinema 4D (preferrably C4D R10 but I'll settle for older versions).  I've seen a few written documents but I like watching and hearing even more.

Does C4D do displacement painting? It'd be news to me if it does because last I checked, it didn't.  ;P  Modeling a human or creature in C4D would be akin to modeling a human or creature in other apps. The only difference would be the location (and sometimes the name) of certain tools. So if you're familiar enough with C4D you may be able to utilize tutorials intended for other applications.

I'm afraid I don't know of any DVD's that teach modeling characters in C4D. I ran across one that teaches technical modeling for product design but that's about it. Try asking in the Cinema 4D forum here at Renderosity, maybe someone there has heard of something.

You're going to want to get ZBrush or Mudbox for sculpting.
