Subject: Mat Pose Edit 3 Help Please

Irish ( ) posted Sat, 17 March 2007 at 3:12 PM · edited Tue, 19 November 2024 at 8:55 PM

I had the awfullest time uploading my product to a store as I did not have absolute paths. Mat Pose Edit 3 should create them but on my computer, it just isn't doing it.

I have followed the tutorial at Mat Pose 3 Edit site but be darned if I can get it to work! How frustrating this is. If any of you use it, I wonder if you could help me get it working.

What it is doing is adding the C: before the paths when it should not. It should be :runtime:etc:etc: where mine is C:runtimeetcetc, so I would like it to have the colons as well.

Anybody have the solution?

:)

MPE creates absolute paths.  What you want is relative paths and those you create in a text editor using a search/replace function.  My preference is EditPad Pro but there is a free version as well.

Have you tried using the Fix button to make the relative path names? Located right by the texture box.

I must remember to remember what it was I had to remember.
