Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 07 8:53 pm)
I have an old one that I think was done by PhilC , It was done a long time back, it was in free stuff. I put it in my props folder, and I don't know how to look at the file to see for sure who did it.
If someone can tell me how to search out the readme or how to open the file in wordpad, maybe I can see who did it.

Although not what you're looking for, Ockham has a couple of scripts in freestuff that might help you - try Exploder or Swarms. @skee - one of my most valued utilities is a thing called ZipScan. Tell it what file you want to find, point it to the folder where you keep your downloaded zips, and it will find the zip which contains that file. Then you can open it and look for readmes, etc. I find it invaluable when I'm doing credits for a gallery image; who did make that prop that I downloaded five years ago, anyway..?
I hadn't even thought of it, but E-Bob is right. Swarm will give you a
great exploding effect. Use a hi-res Ball as the base prop, expand its
scale through the animation, and then use Swarm to populate it
with a bunch of boxes or shard-shaped thingies.
I just tried it, and it works very nicely.
Here's the latest Swarm. The freestuff entries here may not be up-to-date....
I haven't been keeping up with them.

Timewyrm, I found the FX file of particle, it was a free file from way back by Anton Kisiel,
There are some great FX things in the file. hopefully someone knows where they are now.
I'm checking free stuff , If I find them I'll try to let you know.

Hi, Im looking for a free prop called particlesphere. It can be used to make things look as if they have been blown up. Anyone have any idea where I could find it?
