Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Dec 23 7:38 pm)
I'll reply to my own post with an additional question: Any opinions on which figures work best with the face room? I have found that the new G2 figures are not Face Room compatible. For instance, I used G2 Jessi and when I applied and went back to the Pose room, it ignored my changes and just planted G2 Sydney!

Hi everyone,
I'm still confounded by the photo line-up feature of the face room. I've read Dr. Jeep's tutorial, and it is pretty good, but still not completely curing my ills. My main problem is that sometimes I get the best results from just doing the initial four clicks in the line-up wizard and then ignore lining up the green dots and red lines. When I mess around with the green dots and red lines, I get double eyes and uncorrectable problems. I saw the thread from the person who likes to do look-alike morphs. Anyone have a good tutorial for the photo line-up? Or, should I just try to make my own adjustments to create Poser figures who resemble celebrities, etc.
Also, sometimes, I get an okay result with photo line-up, but there are still problems. For instance, hair and ear outlines from the photo are visible in the poser figure. Do I have to Photoshop these out? I'd rather create a reliable figure and not have to clean it with photoshop each time.
I'd love to hear any tips, do's and don't's! Thanks!
