The latest (May) edition of PC World has a lot of Poser content on the CD. It includes the G2 Jessi base pack, LE versions of predatron's City Streets and V3 superhero, and mytilus' Myth Temple and Lost in Graveyard - both on sale here at a total of $25.

Not a bad buy!

*question- would Jessi work in P5?

*Yep - all the EF figures seem to happily work in eariler versions.
But the catch is you need a friendly Poser 6 or 7 owner. Jessi uses external PMD morphs.

Untick the perfence thingy  that says 'save external morphs' and save the figure back to the library. Then open the newly created CR2 and simply change the version number.

On one figure (don't recall which one) I needed to move the OBJ file and edit the CR2 to point to that. Buts that the worst thing.

I've converted Miki and Sydney and the SA Kitty to work in Pro Pack.

What does this mean exactly? Are you saying you need Poser 6 or 7 to use it? The "friendly" threw me off.

Jessi and most of the EF figures have the morphs in an external file ending in .PMD.

You need someone with Poser 6 or 7 to 'convert' as above - as PMD files don't work  in eariler versions. You'll get the figure but you won't get any morphs.

MorphExchange by kuroyume0161 is all you need to convert the PMD files to regular morphs. And it's free!! (but requires Java.)
