I'm currently doing a mondo cloth simulation in P7 SR1 - it's very heavy, with two large chunks of cloth that are about 65k polys each and tons of collision - and while the last frames have taken about 5-6 minutes each, memory usage is extremely reasonable, at about 850mb physical / 850mb swapped, and it came out perfectly with none of the dropthrough problems of Poser 7 un-patched. Great fix!
