Subject: Sabrina Hair problem

I don't get it at all... I'm rendering a scene in Poser 6 with just one figure (V3) at 2000x1000 200ppi, but every single time there is a problem during rendering.  Now I can replace the Sabrina Hair with something that has a much larger mesh and textures, like the Cecile hair, and it renders very quickly without a hitch... just, why?  What's going on?

Well that's improved things slightly... I've also reduced the size of the textures (even though like I've said, I can use other hairs without any problems).  For some reason the Sabrina hair seems far more intensive on Poser's resources than an object it's size has any right to be 😕

Use stomp and click Face Sorting >By Materials. That should fix it. Complex obj files often have hundreds of redundant material references inside that cause havoc with firefly only on some systems.

This was the original realization about obj's and using Stomp to fix it.

Here is what the save dialog should look like.

It seems to work okay now.  Turns out it wasn't just the hair, but the shoes as well.

Thanks for the help guys!
