Subject: Wrong MAT added

mask2 ( ) posted Mon, 09 April 2007 at 1:49 PM · edited Fri, 27 December 2024 at 4:43 PM

Hello,
sometimes when adding a MAT pose, I have the wrong figure selected, so that the MAT pose applies to the wrong figure:
the result is that in the MAT room the figure also shows materials that are not meaningful for it... it is possible to delete them from the figure?

Thanks for the info
Mario

How about reapplying the MAT Pose for the figure in the Pose room?  Have you tried that?

That won't remove the erroneous new material zones. Only reloading the figure or prop from the library will do that.

I would strongly recommend renaming all of your MAT poses to MC6 files (change the file extension from .PZ2 to .MC6, and move them into a sub-folder in the "RuntimeMaterials" folder). MC6 files will not add new material groups unless you allow them to (a confirmation dialog will pop up if you apply an MC6 that contains material groups not present on the currently selected figure or prop).

Hey, that's great to now!
More, there's software like ACDSee that allows renaming of huge file lists in no time...

I thought MC6s were just a fancy way to handle MATs, so glad I have to think back ;)
