The link I posted has some great lessons on animation in general. It's written for hand-drawn, 2d animation, so you kind of have to pick and chose what applied, but general concepts like "anticipation" and "bounce" are good to know.There really aren't too many animation tutorials written specifically for Poser, but I'm working on some myself. It will be a while before they are ready though.
In reguards to your choppiness problem, your best bet is to work with as few keyframes as possible and keep them spread out. Spline interpolation will create nice, smooth movements from key frame to keyframe if given enough room to work its magic.

I'm looking for some really good animation tutorials. Right now I have plenty of resources from which to animate, but all the stuff I render comes out choppy. I've seen what some people have done with Poser4 and my eyes were like 0.0 so I'd really appreciate the help.
