Here's one I did trying to stave off the Winter doldrums. The Sailboat is by Lanover.

Thoroughly excellent--- HOW long did you say you've been using Vue?

Thanks, Mike. I've been toying with Bryce since early 1999 and purchased Vue last August. I like Vue's vegetation and atmospheres better. Hehehe!

Woolala! That's nice...any hoola hoola gals there? ;)

Thanks, Tesign. Oh yeah, hoola, hoola gals galore! Or as a friend of mine said when he saw it... "Any nook, nook on that island?". :oP~

Well, this is definitely a great scene and it has the vue elements which make it different from Bryce which is mostly the sky, the palm trees... The whole scene has a very nice feel...

Very nice. All of the above and great water, too! :) Varian

Yeah, this is a perfect example of why I have ceased and desisted in my Bryce development. This is what Vue seems to do best--- those relistic renders without the hard edges of a Bryce scene. That's not to say it can't be done in Bryce, but it's very difficult; almost too difficult. And of course, I'll take Vue's "Solid Growth" over Bryce's static, unchanging models any day. Now, if only E-on would make an entire separate program based on their Solid Growth coding.....

I hear you, Mike. I read on one of the NG's (can't remember which one) that Vue 4 is suppose to be coming out soon. I checked out the e-on software site but didn't see anything there.

We know it's in beta testing. It's been there for a good couple of months. There hasn't been any official word about when it might be released, but I would guess it will be sometime soon. Could even be this month if we're lucky! But of course, the luckiest of all will be if all the bugs are caught first, so if it takes a bit longer than April or May or even June, it's okay with me! :)

I'm gonna have to start saving up then! Hehehe! Bryce 5, Painter 7 and KPT 7 are supposed to be released this summer/fall too!
