My bad. I cleaned the mirror but not the sensor. I looked in the manual for "cleaning" but found nothing. Then, looking for how to open the mirror, I found "Sensor cleaning". Despite the fact that I ddidn't see anything, it looks like it's gone.
Quite a relief!

hehe - welcome to digital SLR photography
if you want a shock, take a picture of a plain light coloured (or even white) surface at the highest f-number you have on your lens - doesnt matter if you take a blurry picture or not, infact sometimes it helps.ย You will see a lot more of those little dots

I have a sticky problem with my Canon Eos350 (see image) at the left, midway height there is a dirty spot. I tried to remove it by blowing air on the mirror (with that rubber thing they gave me with it) but it does not help.
I do hope that it's dirt, and that I can remove it myself...
Anyone any ideas?
It's always on the same spot.
The stroked part is the spot at true size, the whole image shows where it's located.
Anyone any ideas?
thanks
