In case you haven't seen it already, go to www.rebirthmuseum.com, register on the forum, and get the download. It emulates a Roland rythm machine and is a pretty fun thing to play with. I could get it to do some neat music, and I have practically no clue about that kind of thing. Some of the mods downloadable there might be good for a changeup in soundFX too.

It's good for techno-style or rhytmic soundtracks. Might offer an alternative to complete silence for a Bryce animation.  If you're having trouble getting it to record to audio, might also want to try Audacity alongside it.

Also feel free to browse my freebies at ShareCG.
There might be something worth downloading.

And what's wrong with complete silence?  ;-)  Just kidding. This is a cool download you've discovered. I can think of many uses. Thanks!!

I used to have a T303 (or was it a 505? been about 20 years). I have an Alesis D4, and a bass synth module. Still, it's all coming down to software now..;)

Yes it was great to see Rebirth become free.

I have plans to finish a Music Video I started a few months ago, all rendered with nice soundtrack.

Tb 303 is legendary in the world of Techno. I grew up listening to stuff like that, in my mind nobody could use the machine better than Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman. Thanks for this!

Yes, I downloaded this little baby almost 18 months ago when it became available on the Propellerheads site - an absolute classic (I used to own a TR-808). Lots of fun!!

In the interests of creativity through music, I thought you may be interested in a little stand-alone ambient sound generator. Unlike Re-Birth, this is much simpler as it plays itself. Its called "Soundborb" and you can grab it free from the 'Download' page here:

www.soundborb.com/

Soundborb comes with two built in 'borbs, but there are about 30 others you can download. Just install using the Soundborb.zip file - it runs without any other software required. Open it up, select an ambience ('Ocean' is the best one I think), press play and away it goes: a never repeating, endless sound of waves crashing on the shore! Perfect for inspiring any 'Sphere over Water' render! ;-)

There are a few other (really quite sophisticated) ambient sound generators about, but this is cool as it doesn't require any further software to run. Enjoy!

So far I've spent more than 1 hour trying to download and install the file; now I've got an iso file that impossible to open or install; they couldn't make it more complicated as it is now; this is the hardest program I EVER tried to open/install/test.....
