Subject: Import Maya Models into Vue

how do I import a maya model (*.mb) into Vue is it even possible...the blurb for Vue6 inf reads  "Full object and scene export, convert objects from Max or Maya into Vue format"

You need to export your 3D models either in 3ds or obj. If obj, be sure that an .mtl file is written, otherwise your textures won't import.
Prodecural materials ( such as colour gradients, noises...) won't import in Vue, only texture maps will.

Thanks for the reply, thats what I have been doing, just a shame you can't import directly
