Subject: Getting SketchUp cams into Vue

I exported my .3ds file with cameras.

I tried exporting it in Feet, Centimeters, yards, inches.

The only one that seems to come in as actually what I exported is if I export from SkethcUp as Feet and import into Vue with my options set to 'yards'. Then it's the right size. Why don't the other sizes work correctly? When I import I am sure to have 'resize on import 'UNCHECKED'.

The reason this is important is because then I also open the file in Viz. This reads the .3ds file perfectly, and opens the cameras perfectly ... WHICH IS WHY I don't understand why Vue has such a problem with this... who WOULDN'T want their cameras ported from SketchUp to Vue? Or any program for that matter? Aren't the camera settings/positions the key to getting the image you want?

Anyway, when I use the Synchro Plugin from Viz, Vue will indeed import and sync the camera, apparently, but the scale is all wrong every time, it moves the camera way far away from my model, thought it looks perfect in Viz.

So, if anyone can, please give me a CLEAR STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL on how to get my cams from SketchUp into Vue in a way that will keep it's scale and distance perfectly relative to the model. I don't own xsi, lightwave, or maya... but have Viz2006 if your tut will involve an intermediary exporter.

Thanks.
