Subject: Using HDRI with an enclosed pose scene

Can I use HDRI to illuminate an imported Poser scene? I’m thinking of a building with enclosed walls, when I try, none of the light gets through to light the interior. Is there anyway to get around this?

Hi Morph, When using HDRI, it interacts with objects in your scene just like the real world - to get the light into your room, you need to have windows or the wall behind the camera missing. Unlike regular lights, you can't turn off "cast shadows" when doing GI lighting. If you have windows in your building, make sure to enable "Light through transparency" in the GI settings if there is actually glass in them. Mark
