Hi !

I'm having a little problem.

I used James casual and modified the face and added props.

Now I want to change the clothes but I don't know how.

The clothes don't appear in the hierarchy editor.

Do you have a trick or should I rebuild my character

from scrach using the James figure ?

Help !!! :scared:

I hate to be the bearer of bad news. James Casual is an all in one model, with the clothes. You need to delete that figure and Load James Hi Res.

That's what I thought but I hoped that

there was a trick to get rid of the clothes one way or

the other. Thanks for answering my question! 😄

Actually if you want to just dress him in Jame's clothes you could probably use James Casual by simply hiding the built in clothes sections via the hierchy editor and thenm conforming any of regular Jame's clothes  to the casual figure. You wouldn't be able to use any clothes with short sleeves or pants though because hiding the casual figure clothes would mean no belly buttons, midrifts or other skin parts would show where the clothes had been hidden. You're definately better off startuig from scratch with nude James and dressing him as you want him. You might be able to save the faceroom data from Casual James as a PMD and loading it to Nude james, but I'm not certain without opening them and trying it myself.

Oh, and casual Jame's clothes show up as actual body parts in the heirchy editor like Chest, Hips, Thigh, shin, forearm etcetra....

er, dont delete the figure you have made. Load the hi-res figure as REPLACE and you should get some prompt about morphs. The parented props should also stay in place. Might save you a little work in recreating it .

I forgot all about that prompt Mark's talking about. If you put check marks in copy the morphs you might be able to get your faceroom stuff copied from Casual James to Low Res Nude James as long as the heads are the same.
