Learn How to Turn Your 3D Scenes into 3D Business Cards

**Description:
**
This tutorial explains how to turn your 3D scenes (from just about any 3D app) into a series of rendered files that can then be printed utilizing 3D lenticular technology. 3D lenticular printing is an autostereographic viewing technology, No Special Glasses are Needed!. The glasses have actually been applied to the print itself with a sheet of PET plastic etched with tiny (sometimes as many as 200/inch), vertically aligned, planoconvex, cylinderical lenses called lenticules.

Advancements in Lenticular Printing have been numerous over the past decade thanks to technological improvements in digital capture, imaging programs, high resolution printing, lenticular lenses and now 3D imaging. The advertising industry especially has eagerly embraced using lenticular technology. 3D & animated lenticular prints and backlit displays are extremely effective at getting a wide demographic of customers to stop in their tracks, take a second look and even physically interact with the display. Unfortunately, advertisers have been about the only ones with deep enough pockets to afford it!

Why Was It So Expensive?

Surprisingly, nearly 99% of the 3D lenticular prints you see are actually created in Photoshop by layering 2D files and animating the layers relative to one another to create a simulated depth. This 2D to 3D conversion is a labor intensive process. Each visual element needs to be separated from the background and placed on a separate layer and then the background often needs to be cloned into the areas where objects are cut from. This 2D to 3D "build" work can easily add $1500 - $4500 or more to the final price.

What's Changed?.... No Conversion Fees!

Our files are already in a 3D format. All that is needed is the know-how to set up & render the files required to create a 3D lenticular print. Developed while consulting for Kodak's Dynamic Imaging Division, the author reveals his 3D image creation secrets to you. This tutorial will guide you through this very simple animation process.

Now 3D Artists Can Design Their Own 3D Business Cards and Postcards!

Imagine the impact of presenting a client with such a unique business card. Research shows that lenticular business cards are retained much longer and often are displayed to associates of the receiver, greatly increasing your brand exposure.**

** Learn Where to Order Your Custom 3D Business Cards & Post Cards!

Also revealed in the tutorial is how to order your 3D cards from a new web site designed to take orders exclusively from 3D artists like you. By eliminating the 2D to 3D conversion fees they can offer significanly lower per card pricing with even greater volume discounting. You just upload your rendered files.

FREE Sample Lenticular Postcard Available for a Limited Time!

In order that as many people as possible may see for themselves the potential of lenticular printing, a lenticular postcard designed by the author is available as a bonus (While Supplies Last). Details for requesting one are provided in the tutorials.
