Subject: Vue Xstream issues ?

Hello friends,

As I long as I upgraded to Maya 8 from 6.5 - I don't have any issues with xstream. But one of my friends who using Max 8 have view port display issues. That happened to me on Maya 6.5 too. When I opened Vue scene file in Maya - some objects weren't visible or they dissappear after scene loaded.

Another weird issue is - Xstream is not working with Cinema 4D 9.1 on our office. C4D is not crashing down on starting.

All kind of suggestions and experiences could be helpful...

Are you using xStream 5 or 6? I think xStream6 doesn't work with R9.1, only R9.5 and up, but worth checking over at e-on's.

I tried it with Xstream 6 Plug in installer and Cinema 4D R9.1 - I think you're right. I should try it with 9.5 or 10 when we upgrade.

Since C4D 10 avaiable no reason to pay for 9.5.

"C4D is not crashing down on starting." - sorry for the typo - it should be : "C4D is crashing down on starting."

The reason must be that the advanced renderer has been updated with R9.5
