Subject: I need help with Penny

Boni ( ) posted Tue, 22 May 2007 at 9:15 PM · edited Sat, 23 November 2024 at 4:25 PM

Is there any morphs (preferably free) for Penny that will take away the ... demon child look she has.  I'm illustrating a children's book and other than her face ... she is perfect.  Her wardrobe and posability is perfect for this assignment.  HELP .... please.

Here are my first images.  The story is of a spoiled little girl who learns to share.

And finally is my attempt to cute-ify her.  Not sure if it worked. :(

So ... here you are.  Can anyone out there help me????

Sincerely
~ Boni ~

She is much sweeter in the final example.

When I bought Eternal Judy, 3Dream was giving Eternal Penny as a bonus freebie. Much less demonic-looking :) Plus, you could do much worse than to buy Eternal Judy.

Some sweet faces for Penny are over at PosetteForever. For some reason I can't log in there from this compy so can't download them now and see how they really look like - hope you have more luck ;) (yes, registration is required)

Has anyone tried copying Judy's facemorphs to Penny? The look so much alike after all!. I bought EJ last year but didn't get EP, it must have been a short lived freebie.

Ok, So I just used Morph Manager and answered my own question. Penny DOES take Judy's head morphs if you have any!

And as I suspected... She takes all of EJ's head morphs as well!

here's another  prettier Penny with EJ Morphs.

She does look cute in the first one.  Scary in the third one (especially with those frog toes) and the rest don't go in the right direction IMO either.  Try to just brighten up the eye texture and see if that helps?  Also maybe give some pink to the skin so it's not so goth.

For what it's worth, if you're looking for free morphs. Look no further than at Don & Judy! If you have any morphs for either of these two figures, they will transfer to Will & Penny via MorphManager!

Here's my complete Poser 5 family with everyone sharing head morphs. They're all four sharing head morphs from 3Dream's Eternal Judy as well, but you would have to buy EJ to get those morphs! I've also got Judy (Yes that's Judy with EJ Morphs, not EJ), Will & Penny wearing some free V2 Skin textures! Don's wearing M2 skin MarkRO from the RMP.

These are great and I'm using some of them ... but what I really need is this little girl.  She is the model for the character.  Know anyone who can help?

Most of the face I can get ... but the eyes have to be just right.  Can this be done with Penny?
Peace

I think the problem with Penny is the result of her "inheriting" the base mesh of the androgynous adult the P5's are built from. This is the face you see when you go to the Face room. Penny's eyes are adult-sized (too small), and her cheek creases have an aged look. So she looks like a midget pretending to be a child.
