Hi all,

i have a little problem..
When ik apply transparency to my material(s) then a strange glow is coming over the road..
This transparency is uses for cutting of the rest of the road near the red zone (see material).
Can anyone tell me or learn me how to deal with this? When i'm not using any transparency the the picture is ok.

Interesting would be to see how the transparency map looks like. Maybe you have a sort of blur there between the two areas and that this creates the effect. The other option is that the maps does not fit perfectly, that for example the transparency map is just a tiny bit bigger than the color map. And then you see some white from the color map shining through.

I was playing around the settings and discovered this little setting... (picture)
I know that the picture is a little excessive but to make it perfectly clear i will post it..
It was a mapping problem.. i had in one setting 'world standard' and that was wrong!!

Forgive me if I make you repeat yourself, but I fail to see what the problem is.

The road looks ok to me.... where is that glow you are talking about ?

mabe 'glow' isnt a good word for it..
Above (the first post) the render picture has strange repeating light shadows over the road...
This not a light or sunlight effect, it came when i applied transparency to the material..
I think when i look closely, that the effect is been created by little roads repeating itself all over the picture..

But now the road is ok. (2nd post)
